Stuff We've Done

I'm running out of catchy post titles.

Bella's "winner" shoelaces. Sadly, they were slick and wouldn't stay tied, so we got her pink ones instead.

What on earth are you looking at? Bella in the bathtub with glow bracelets, a highlighter, and a black light. Soooo fun!

Couldn't pass up this shirt for Ryan that says "Ready Set Go" on it. He wants to wear it every day!
The weekend itself was rather slow and uneventful. Which is okay. :o) On Sunday, we set out to geocache. Geocaching is where people bury "treasure" (or caches) and you use your phone to find it. There are three caches right around our home so we set out. I have tried in vain to rotate the pictures, so you'll just have to rotate your head. Sorry 'bout that.
The were so excited! Bella brought along her doll, Bella.

We searched all three spots with no luck (this was our first time out). We decided to hunt for chocolate treasure at Kroger instead! The kids with their "booty."

Storytime is a big deal around here, so told the kids to bring me as many books as they wanted me to read. We piled in our bed and started reading.

This was our pile! The kids made it though 11 books before they started getting squirmy. Which signaled...

Sunday picnic dinner. This has been a tradition in our home for a while now. Always the same spread: apples (or grapes), cheese, crackers, peanut butter and Nutella. Yummy!

The first really COLD morning at the bus stop-32 degrees! Bella is sporting her new backpack thanks to Grammy. Seeing as how it's a Vera Bradley bag, I'm guessing she's got the most expensive backpack in school!

Bella ASKED to wash the dishes. I took this picture (which I now realize is ridiculously dark) because I have a picture of me, about 5 years old, standing on a chair in our kitchen in Chicago, washing dishes. She's my girl!
