Christmas

I haven't taken too many other pictures, because it's been pretty quiet around here. And I didn't take many Christmas pictures because I was holding the tablet for Mom and Dad to see the kids open their presents. So, here's what I have from the last month:

Gotta teach them the classics early on. "Charlie Brown Christmas" is right below "It's A Wonderful Life" (which we also watched).

This is what happens when you turn your back on him for a second in Claire's.

This is the best I could get from the yearly picture at the Children's Museum. Sheesh.

Singing at church! Ryan's in the front row and Bella is two rows behind him.

Christmas Eve jammies!
And the fruits of our gingerbread house building labors!
Bella goes for sugar overload!

Joshua's, as always, very planned out and detailed.

Ryan did a bit, then got bored. Or, more interested in candy, should I say.

And anal-retentive me and my perfectly planned house.
 Christmas!!
Wish I could have recorded Bella's squeals of delight as she opened this up.

A joint effort between the kids, Joshua and Uncle Jeff.

Love it!
We took Uncle Jeff and "Miss Donna" to the Children's Museum with us.
Love that little mug!

Ice cream!

Bella's favorite food in the world.

Even Uncle Jeff and Miss Donna got some!

Gone fishing.

Checking out the glass from below. Ryan was building his own "glass" sculpture.
The kids continue to enjoy-and do well at- karate. Here they are at testing for their orange belts.

Ryan rocks out on his belt/guitar. Bella was off talking to the older girls (of course).
I continue to teach the kids necessary life skills. One morning they asked about breakfast, so I showed them how to make scrambled eggs and sausage.
Ryan adding the finishing touch-some sea salt!

Bella presents hers so delicately. I love it.
Random pics from this past weekend:
Bella chose the "difficult" climb at the Children's Museum. She worked so hard, but just wasn't able to get to the top. Something to work toward!
I took the kids bowling on Saturday morning.
Ryan lines up his shot. He's reminded every time that "real" bowling is a lot tougher than his video game version!

Having fallen several times, Bella decided the backwards Granny shot was her best bet.

Final scores-not too shabby for 5 and 7 year olds! I think I've bowled less than those scores in my 20's!
