May 2018

May is generally our busiest month of the year, and this year was no exception. All good things, but just a whirlwind. Here are some highlights!

These were the badges, patches, and service stars Bella earned with AHG since the fall. She had almost 45 hours of service!

We were able to buy Bella this scooter as an early birthday present. It's a tad too small because of her long legs, but she can zip around at almost 15 mph so she doesn't care!
We took advantage of Teacher Appreciation Night at Victory Field. Unfortunately the Indians lost, but it was the perfect weather and there were fireworks afterward!

We celebrated Ryan's 9th (!!!) birthday with dinner at Red Robin, and I took him, his friend Deagan and Bella to the Children's Museum. We were there for 7 hours!
This kid loves his rootbeer floats!

He does not love having to wear safety goggles to dig!

Bella has probably ridden this horse a thousand times over the years.

The kids face off in the peddle car challenge! Bella has her game face on!
And then school was over! The kids ended the year with good grades and I skidded over the finish line exhausted but grateful for the job - we were able to pay off quite a bit of debt!
Strawberry picking! We picked just under 20 pounds this year.

Papa will fish in any hole he can find! Glad he got to take the kids while he and Mom were here.
We got to celebrate Ryan's baptism with (almost) the whole family! It was a beautiful day and so we took some family pictures.
