End of School

A lot happened after the end of the last post but before summer officially began, so here you go!

The kids and their yearly lemonade stand. They raised a ton!

Bella did 75.5 hours of service and earned the Presidential Service Award for AHG!

The 4th graders make egg parachutes that Dr. Williams drops off the roof! Bella's didn't make it...

Holly Hobby in the strawberry patch. She's a good picker!

Ryan worked really hard too! We got a ton of delicious strawberries.

Bella. Cheering the ducklings on as they crossed the parking lot. One sort of got too scared to jump off the curb and Bella's yelling, "You can do it! Come on, little duckling!"

Endlessly fascinated by the arcade games of yore. Still just a quarter!
The end of 4th grade! The kids went of a field trip to the State Museum (which I got to chaperone), they received their completion certificates, and then they took a final walk through the halls (sniff, sniff).
She was JUST born yesterday!

Receiving her certificate from her teacher, Mr. Day, along with our principal, Dr. Williams.

A little SnapChat on the bus ride home.

Final walk through the halls...until she returns as a senior.

Woot! Woot! No more second grade!

Goodbye, Washington Woods!
And then it was over! We celebrated with YogoPassion (as per tradition), and a new thing - the burning of the books!

They got bored and preferred to play.
