This week's food: Kale Chips. Bella liked them. Then again, she likes almost everything that's a green, leafy vegetable!
My treat? The Container Store. The kids' treat? The Lego storage aisle. They played for about 20 minutes.
4th of July parade! SO hot, but the kids loved it!
Okay, they loved most of it. They didn't love the noise.
Ryan wasn't aggressive enough to get the candy being thrown on the street, so big sister helps out. They have enough candy to last them until Halloween!
Going to see fireworks. We had to wait an hour for them to start, and it was hot and Ryan was tired. I didn't think it was going to be a good idea...
Until the fireworks actually started going off. I closed the back gate, turned the air on, and they were happy little campers.
Bella's 5th birthday party! It was supposed to be at a spray park, but the sky was a bit ominous. Plan B? Home.
Fruit kabobs that Bella helped with. Okay, so she made about 5 and kept wanting to take breaks to eat the fruit, but still.
Cupcakes to go with the "Tinkerbell" theme.
Opening presents. She got a ton of fun toys (which I've tucked away to bring out a little at a time) and had a blast playing with some of her church friends.
A look of pure, 5-year-old joy!
