Craftin' it up!

In making a routine for the kids-a very loose routine-I've designated Thursday as craft morning. I did everything out, the kids make a fantastic mess, then I clean it all up. It's wonderful. :o) So here I chronicle two of our efforts.
First up: Snowflake Tortillas. Bella is very intent. Don't you just love her static-y hair?
Ryan was just excited that he finally got to use scissors!
Finished results: my snowflake on the left, and all the pieces that fell apart from Bella going scissor crazy on me. Deep fried and covered with cinnamon sugar-so who cares?

Next up: Paper bag puppets. Ryan got the markers, scribbled his little heart out, then went to play with his trucks.
Planning where to put the googly eyes-an essential item!

Bella was more meticulous (surprise). I ended up going off to do other thing and she was still planning. Also true to Bella, she took the puppet into her room (affectionately known as "The Abyss") and I haven't seen it since.
