My little hooligan at 10 months

I had to skip the normal "Ryan and Tigger" shot to provide you with this one I snapped at Target while in Missouri this month. LOVE it! And now back to our previously scheduled update:

Ryan hams it up with Tigger. He is getting so big and a bit chunky (Ryan, not Tigger).

I took this one of Isabella because she just looked particularly cute that morning. I can't tell what it was, and it's not really captured well on film, but my little girl just made me smile.

We (the kids and I) snuck off to Missouri for just under a week to visit my folks and, despite my constant work phone calls and emails, had a great time. I can never tell who enjoys it more: my parents for getting to see (and spoil) their second batch of grandkids; me, for getting a break from the everyday (and my kids sometimes) and have my mom and dad spoil me; or the kids, who are treated to chocolate donuts for breakfast, rides in the golfcart, and endless walks and swings with Maga. Tough call...

Papa took Bella out fishing one glorious afternoon. They didn't catch any fish, but I don't think either of them minded. I love how "girly" Bells looks in her pink and ruffles, holding a fishing rod.

Isabella held court one night: we all had plastic bowling pins and would play "follow the leader" with them. Here she is hacking up a lung while doing it-what a multitasker!

Maga let her play with some old makeup. What fun she had!

Ryan with aforementioned chocolate donut residue. Or, as Bella used to say, "Chocky donut."

Mom and I had a whirlwind two days shopping for spring clothes. We'd only packed (and only had for the kids) winter clothes and it was too warm for them-yay! So we went to Target and tried on bunny ears...(I love that the tag says "Bunny Ears" like you would mistake them for, say, a blender or something if they weren't labeled. I digress.)

...stopped and got a Caramel Frappuccino...(we're waiting for it in our shirt that says "My favorite color is dirt")

...and we went to WalMart (this is how I found him when I left him with Mom to take Bells to the bathroom)...

...played in the park at the WalMart parking lot...

Is this kid excited about the swings or what?

...and generally wore the kids out!

One of Ryan's big accomplishments this past month was learning how to crawl. He did the army crawl for about two weeks, then finally learned this was faster. He's also cruising around and I'll bet he'll be walking before his first birthday. AND, because I can video from my phone, I've included a clip of him toddling around at mom and dad's. Hopefully you'll be able to see it.

Food! Glorious food! This boy loves to eat and I'm shocked at the amount he can stuff in those chipmunk cheeks of his. Then again, if he didn't eat so much he wouldn't have the chipmunk cheeks, and he only has those because he eats so much! I fix the same amount of food for both kids and many times Isabella will toss him random scraps from her plate (honestly, it's like throwing sardines to the seals at the zoo) and he'll gladly gobble them up. We joke that we need to start saving now for the grocery bills when he becomes a teen...but how can you say no to this face???

And this should have been the first picture, because it happened first, but we gave him a buzz cut. After the initial shock of having his hair gone, I absolutely love it on him. And, seeing as how the poor guy has six-six!-cowlicks on his head, he'll probably have this style for the rest of his life. Until next month!
P.S. I have a ton of more pictures-I just choose a select few to post. If you are interested in seeing them or printing them out, let me know and I'll updload them to Shutterfly and you can get as many in whatever size as you'd like.
